The section from the main city to Fuling along the Yangtze River Expressway passes through four districts: Nan'an District, Banan District, Changshou District and Fuling District, including the main line from the main city to Fuling and the branch line from the main city to Changshou. The whole line is in the shape of a "Y". After starting from the starting point of Yinglong in Nan'an District, it branches off at Shuanghekou in Banan District. The main line continues to Fuling, and the branch line leads to Changshou Yanjia Chemical Industry Park.

Among them, the main city to Fuling is 65.74 kilometers long. It starts near the tea garden development zone in the eastern section of the Outer Ring Expressway. 沿江高速主城至涪陵段，经南岸区、巴南区、长寿区和涪陵区4个区，包括主城到涪陵的主线、主城到长寿的支线。整个线路呈“Y”字形，从南岸区迎龙起点上道后，在巴南区双河口分岔，主线继续通往涪陵，支线则通往长寿晏家化工园区。

　　其中，主城到涪陵长65.74公里，起于外环高速公路东段茶园开发区附近，从迎龙上道，经木洞、丰盛、双河口、两汇、蔺市到涪陵，接在建的涪陵至丰都的涪丰高速。约40分钟单趟就能到达，是主城到涪陵最近的一条路。
